    About

    About the Bulk Password Generator

Creates a whole list of random passwords in one go — up to 1,000 at a time — either from random letters, numbers and symbols, or built from words you type yourself, mixed with random numbers and symbols.

IT admins use it to hand out temporary passwords for a whole class, team or batch of new accounts, and anyone who finds random strings hard to remember can feed in their own words — a pet's name, a city, a hobby — and get passwords that are still random but easier to recall. Every password is made with your browser's secure random source, duplicates are removed, and the list can be copied or downloaded as a TXT or CSV file. Nothing is sent to a server. For just one password, the regular Password Generator is quicker.

    Guide

    Using the Bulk Password Generator

    1. 1

      Step 1

Choose how many passwords you need (1 to 1,000).

    2. 2

      Step 2

Pick a tab: "Random characters" for classic random passwords, or "My own words" to build them from words you type.

    3. 3

      Step 3

In random mode, set the length and turn lowercase, uppercase, numbers and symbols on or off. In word mode, type one word or several, then build the pattern: add rules "Before the word" and "After the word" — for example 2 symbols before and 4 numbers after — choosing numbers, letters, symbols, your own characters or fixed text for each rule.

    4. 4

      Step 4

Check the sample and strength bar, click "Generate passwords", then "Copy all", download a TXT or CSV file, or copy any single password with its own button.

    • Generates up to 1,000 passwords in a single click
    • "My own words" mode works with just one word — set your own rules for what goes before and after it
    • Up to 6 rules on each side: random numbers, lowercase, uppercase, letters, symbols, letters & numbers, characters you choose, or fixed text
    • Optional letter swaps (a→@, e→3, o→0, s→$ and more) and random capitalisation make word-based passwords harder to guess
    • Random-character mode from 4 to 128 characters, with every character set guaranteed to appear
    • Duplicate passwords are removed automatically, so every line in the list is unique
    • Download the list as a TXT file or a numbered CSV that opens in Excel or Google Sheets
    • Uses crypto.getRandomValues, the browser's cryptographically secure random source
    • Shows the estimated entropy per password, and warns when your word list is too small to be safe

    3 worked examples

    01

    50 random 12-character passwords

Random mode, How many 50, length 12, every set on — one click gives 50 unique passwords like "r7#Kp2!mWq9x", each with roughly 77 bits of entropy, ready to download as CSV.

    02

One word with your own rules

Word "tiger", rules: 2 symbols before, 4 numbers and 1 uppercase letter after — 100 passwords like "#!Tiger4821K" and "@%Tiger0937Q", all different.

    03

    Word passwords with letter swaps

The same words with "Swap letters" on and random capitals might give "r0cKeT_m@ngo59$" — still recognisable to you, much harder for a guessing tool.

    FAQ

    Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to common questions about the Bulk Password Generator.

What does the Bulk Password Generator do?

It creates a list of unique random passwords — up to 1,000 at once — either from random characters or from words you type yourself, and lets you copy the list or download it as TXT or CSV.

How does "My own words" mode work?

Type one word, or several separated by commas, spaces or new lines. Then add rules before and after the word — each rule is a type (numbers, letters, symbols, your own characters or fixed text) and a count. For every password the tool picks a word, applies the capitalisation and optional letter swaps, and fills each rule with fresh random characters, so "tiger" with 2 symbols before and 4 numbers after gives passwords like "#!Tiger4821" and "@%Tiger0937".

Can I use just one word?

Yes. With a single word, the randomness comes from your rules, so give them enough characters — 4 numbers and 1 symbol already allow over 100,000 different passwords. The strength bar shows how strong your pattern is before you generate.

Are passwords made from my own words safe?

They can be, but it depends on how many words you give it. Picking from 3 words is far easier to guess than picking from 50. The tool shows the estimated entropy and warns you when it's low — add more words, more words per password, or more numbers and symbols to raise it.

Is the Bulk Password Generator free?

Yes. It's free, with no sign-up and no limit on how many times you use it.

Are my words or passwords sent anywhere?

No. Everything happens in your browser. The words you type and the passwords generated are never uploaded or stored.

Will there be duplicate passwords in the list?

No. Duplicates are removed automatically. If your settings can't produce enough unique passwords (for example, 2 words and no numbers), the tool tells you how many it could make.

    What's in the CSV download?

Two columns, "No." and "Password", with one row per password. Values are quoted where needed, so symbols like commas don't break the columns in Excel or Google Sheets.

How is this different from the Password Generator?

The Password Generator shows one password at a time for a single account. This tool is for making many passwords at once and for building passwords from your own words.
